Hi Grandma,
How are you? Thank you for the amusement park-tickets you gave me. Ashley and I had so much fun. The day started very badly but then it became the best birthday ever! So in this letter I am going to tell you everything that happened.
We woke up very early so we could spend all day there. Before we went to the amusement park Ashley gave me a beautiful birthday-cake she had made and we ate it for breakfast. We took our things and went to the park at 9.00 a.m. There were thousands of roller coasters and a lot of people.
The first thing Ashley wanted to do was to ride the scariest roller coaster there was. I was a little scared but Ashley convinced me and we stood in line for 30 minutes. We put on our seat belts and waited for the ride to begin. The ride was fun at first and I wanted to take a picture. When I was going to press the button the worst thing happened. The phone slid out of my hands and landed on the ground. I had never sworn and screamed so much in my entire life. I thought that that was the worst thing that could happen but then my seat belt broke. I started crying and Ashley tried to calm me down. After a little while the ride was finally over and we ran to the place where we fhought my phone was, but it was not there. We started to look for it but we could not find it so we gave up and we sat down.
After some time I saw a little girl that held my phone. We ran to her and told her to give it back but she said that we had to pay for it. It cost 200 kr and after that I only had 20 kr left.
We were so tired and we wanted to go home. On our way back home we walked by a stand were you could win candy if you threw a ball and it hit a bottle. It cost 20 kr which was the money I had left so I wanted to try. I threw the ball and it hit the bottle! I won 5kg of candy and a big teddy bear. I was so happy and I forgot everything bad that happened.
Thank you so much for the tickets, maybe we could go again together? Do you like candy? If you want you can come and eat some, because I have plenty left.
